Encourage your favorite restaurants to consider purchasing produce from local farmers. Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago restaurants have the option of working with “Home Grown Wisconsin,” a farmer-restaurant cooperative that coordinates the supply and distribution of locally grown produce to restaurants. Look for (or develop) cooperatives like this in you region.
