Canning is a great way to preserve your garden bounty and locally grown produce at their peak. This century-old technique has been refined over the years to be a highly dependable and safe method for food preservation. So join the movement of 21st century locavore canners who aren’t afraid to don an apron and put up some jars for the winter!
You’ll learn what you need to know to safely can a variety of foods at home and we’ll make pickles in the class- It’s easier (and more fun) than you think.
Fee: $15
